A few weeks ago when we were visiting my parents my mom used a mommy Jedi mind trick on Daniel: the Brer Rabbit briar patch trick. How do you get your grandson to give you a kiss? Act like it's the last thing you'd want. She'd say, "oh no, don't you dare give me kisses, yuck!" and sure enough, suddenly he couldn't wait to kiss her.
Since then he delights in showering Mommy with yucky kisses. He says "I give you yucky kisses" then laughs as I make a big show of wiping it off. In fact, if I don't wipe it off, he says "Mommy you wipe off the yucky kiss!"
Such a sweet, funny boy! I love all of his kisses, "yucky" or not.
